Cassie graduated with a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation from University of Delaware and an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Delaware Technical and Community College. Since graduating, Cassie has developed her technical skills while working in emergency medicine and general practice as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Eventually, she found her way to Brunswick Forest Veterinary Hospital in July of 2023. Although Cassie greatly enjoys working with all animals, birds and reptiles are her favorite. Cassie lives with her husband, Austin, and their daughter, Michaela. They have two dogs, Baby and Angus, and a red-footed tortoise named Fred. Outside of work, Cassie is interested in wildlife rehabilitation and bird watching with friends.
